The Role:  Lead Creative Designer/Director (DOE)  

(Work Location American Fork, UT; Reports to CMO)

The beauty and personal care product industry offers a coveted opportunity for creative professionals to build their portfolios and hone their craft. Jamberry has an amazing opportunity to develop and define visual and creative direction at an international beauty company. Jamberry is looking for a full-time, passionate, and energetic, producing Creative Lead or Director to work with and head our in-house design and media team.

We are looking for a someone with high minded vision who can still execute on a ground floor level in a fast-paced environment, who has strong team leadership skills and can work closely with creative counterparts, and other departments. Our ideal candidate has impressive organization skills and understands the basic processes for product development and marketing and can prioritize and drive deadlines for the creative team. We are looking for someone who has the portfolio AND experience to bring fresh ideas to the table while developing maintaining brand identity throughout the entire production process. 


  • Manage design and media teams
  • Work with Project Management to help facilitate and deliver on execution of projects
  • Creative strategy and art direction including pitching creative concepts and vision, overseeing staging and set preparation, preparing and approving budgets for print and digital catalogs, selecting models and locations for offsite photo and video
  • Collaborate with creative peers, Marketing, Product, Event, and Field Services teams to manage project requests and expectations, and provide creative solutions to problems 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a leadership position
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, design or related field preferred
  • Strong strategic, creative and conceptual abilities as demonstrated by outstanding portfolio
  • Assertive, management-focused personality with take-charge abilities
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and manage multiple initiatives and clients deadlines simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed to hit deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Able to recognize and drive great creative work; able to teach/nurture creative abilities within the group
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills (e.g., ability to navigate a variety of different work styles and processes)
  • A positive, energetic, flexible, can-do attitude is critical for this position
  • Must be available to work flexible hours and travel for catalog shoots and events, as needed. This is a must not a plus!
